Toyota ( TM - news - people ) is reeling from the recall of more than 6 million vehicles with sticky gas pedals and faulty floor mats. What's more, federal safety regulators said Thursday they will investigate reports of brake problems on the 2010 Prius. All told, repair costs and lost sales will cost Toyota an estimated $2 billion. The carmaker has also suffered a severe loss of consumer trust.
